Practicing against others will improve your skills, while playing against the system alone will not be as beneficial to your improvement. Learn special game codes to enter while playing, as this will give you an advantage over other players. These game codes can be found by searching online gaming forums. Attend a gaming competition hosted by your league or the game system developer. These competitions are usually held once a year by different leagues or systems. Most championships are held in convention centers to accommodate competitors, while others are held completely online. Sign up to compete in the competition. You may be required to pay a registration fee for entering. Defeat your opponents and advance through each level of the competition until you reach the finals. Compete against your opponent and win the championship using the skills you developed while practicing.
