Instructions

    • 1

Place the table in a space where the chairs will easily move in and out from the table. Don't place them where they will hit the wall or where guests will feel cramped.

    • 2

Leave enough room between chairs to allow guests to put both elbows out on the table comfortably. This also allows for adequate space to you can't see others' cards.

    • 3

Place a coaster at each space for drinks. This is especially important if the table is finished wood or felt. It will help keep the surface in good condition.

    • 4

Position the automatic card shuffler in the middle of the table so each guest can reach it easily when it's their turn to shuffle and deal. If you aren't using a shuffler, set the deck of cards in the middle of the table.

    • 5

Arrange snacks in the middle of the table if there is room, or provide a small buffet style table next to the card table so guests don't have to go far for a snack.Place small bowls at the corners or between players, if there is enough space.

Tips & Warnings

  • If using poker chips, place a tray near the table, next to the dealer. This makes a simple surface for holding poker chips without taking up snack space on the table.
