Tumblr users have the choice to make their blogs public or private. If you want people to be able to find your blog when they search for certain keywords related to your site, you must configure the settings to allow the search engines to index your blog's links.

Open your Web browser and go to tumblr.com.

Enter your email address and password, then click the "Log In" button.

Click the blog title in the menu at the top of the page to select it.

Click the "Settings" tab located on the right of the page.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the check box for "Allow Search Engines to Index Your Blog" to enable it.
