How to Reprogram a SunSetter Awning Remote
SunSetter manufacturers motorized awnings and shades that only require the push of a button to operate. The remote transmitter runs on a 3-volt lithium battery, and the motor plugs into a standard wall outlet. Sometimes when an electrical storm passes or you change the battery, it becomes necessary to reprogram the remote transmitter. Reprogramming a SunSetter awning remote transmitter requires disconnecting power to the awning and operating it manually for a brief period. Because of this, it is necessary to locate the manual-crank handle that came with the unit. Does this Spark an idea?
