How to Kill Greta on Fallout 3
In "Fallout 3," you can recruit different characters to join you on your main quest. Charon is one option, but he is a slave under Ahzrukal when you first meet him. Ahzrukal will let you purchase his contract for 2,000 caps or for free should you kill Greta, who is in the next room. Killing Greta in of itself is not a difficult task, though committing this crime will give you negative karma.

Kill Greta outright. She is a fairly weak nonplayer character, so taking her down will not be an issue. However, everybody else in Underworld will turn hostile. Leave Underworld and return after three in-game days to have the residents stop attacking you, and you can speak to Ahzrukal to complete the quest.

Follow Greta when she takes a smoke break. This typically occurs at 9 p.m. outside of Underworld. Killing her outright when she is outside will not cause the residents to turn hostile.

Pickpocket Greta when nobody else is looking. However, instead of taking items out of her inventory, place a grenade in her pockets. Exit the screen and immediately back away from Greta. After a few seconds, the grenade will explode and kill Greta.

Follow Greta on her smoke break, but make sure you have another follower with you; your follower must deliver the fatal blow. Attack Greta only once. Since she is a weak character, you must have a weak weapon, such as a pool cue. Wait as your follower chases Greta and defeats her. This lets you avoid negative karma because you were not the one to kill her.

Tips & Warnings
Have either Clover or Jericho kill Greta. These are your evil followers and they will not hate you for the action.
If you force a good follower (such as Fawkes or Star Paladin Cross) to kill Greta, he may become hostile if you fire him.
