How to Build a Greeting Card to Send on Facebook

You can create digital greeting cards using the Facebook Birthday Cards app.

You can build customized greeting cards for any event using the free Facebook Birthday Cards app. The app features a simple interface for adding images, background and text to a greeting card interface. You can send cards that you create to any friend or family member in your Facebook contact list.

Instructions

1. Navigate to apps.facebook.com/rybirthday/ and sign into your Facebook account.

2. Click "Allow" to grant the Birthday Cards app access to your Facebook account.

3. Click the "Create Card" tab to build a custom greeting card. Alternatively, select the "Browse" tab to view greeting card templates that you can customize with your own text and images.

4. Click the appropriate buttons in the card creator interface to select the image, background, objects and text you want to use in your greeting card. Click card templates in the "Popular Cards" section of the interface to apply templates created by other users.

5. Click "Send" once you have finished building your card.

6. Click to select recipients for the greeting card from your Facebook contact list, then click "Post Card."
