How to Make Silk in Photoshop
The background you choose to use in an ad, sign or for a website can have a major impact on how your document is perceived. For a high-tech website, you might want lots of metal, computer parts or circuitry, while for a restaurant ad you could use images of the dishes served. For a document related to fashion, you could choose a silky, rippled background that gives the appearance of a rumpled piece of cloth. If you have access to Photoshop, creating this effect is quite simple.
