Use the label manager to create labels for files.

The LabelManager 350D, made by Dymo, is an electronic device used to make adhesive labels. A supplied cassette cartridge containing a ribbon of unprinted label material is placed into the unit. Your personalized message is then printed as a label, which can be used in a range of applications. For example, the labels can be used to help with file management in an office setting, or in the home for organizing projects. Buy replacement cassettes at an office supply store; multiple color options are available.

Instructions

    • 1

Attach the power adapter to the power connector at the top-left side of the label maker. Plug the power adapter into a power outlet.

    • 2

Press and release the tape cassette cover to open the tape compartment. Set the cassette switch for the size of the tape cassette that you are inserting. Place the cassette over the switch, aligning the notch on the cassette with the switch. When installed correctly, the tape and ribbon should pass between the guides and be taut across the front of the cassette. Turn the cassette spool clockwise to tighten the ribbon if necessary. Close the tape cassette cover and press the "Power" button.

    • 3

Press the "Font" key. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to choose the lettering style for the label. Press "OK."

    • 4

Type the text for the label into the keypad. Press "Print." The label will print, and will cut automatically when the process is complete. Remove the label and pull the backing off of the strip, using the exposed adhesive to affix the label to your desired item.

Tips & Warnings
