How to Correct Eyebrows
Unruly eyebrows can draw negative attention to themselves and can call attention away from the eyes and other significant facial features. But corrected, well-groomed eyebrows can actually draw positive attention to the face and can frame the eyes. With just a few grooming tools and minimal discomfort, adjusting eyebrows can be done quickly. The more an individual practices fixing her eyebrows, the easier the procedure becomes and the longer the results last. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Brush your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush, moving the brush from your nose out toward your ears.
-
2
Hold the mirror up so that you can see your eyebrows clearly. With the tweezers, grab hold of the tips of any stray hairs found below and above the eyebrow and between your eyebrows and pull, plucking the stray hairs out.

3
Snip the longest strands of eyebrow hair with manicure scissors. Only cut those hairs that are so long that you can reach them with the scissors without pressing the scissors hard against your skin. Trim the hairs below and above the eyebrow that stick out or don't lie flat. Do the same for your other eyebrow, measuring both of them for symmetry as you go.

4
Determine how you want to shape your eyebrows. To achieve your ideal arch, look in the mirror and hold a pencil vertically so that it presses against the outside of your nostril. Dab some foundation on any excess hair that starts before the pencil's line.
-
5
Angle your pencil so that one end is at the outer corner of your nostril and the pencil looks as if it's running straight through your pupil; make your arch where the end of the pencil meets your eyebrow. Move the pencil over slightly so that the pencil looks like it's running by the outer edge of your pupil; this should be the end of your eyebrow and you should add foundation there.
-
6
Smear more foundation onto the areas of your eyebrow that you want to correct that lie between your eyebrow and your eye. Pluck along the areas that you marked with foundation and along your arch until all of the unwanted hairs are gone. Repeat the same process with your other eyebrow.
-
7
Apply soothing lotion or cream to your eyebrows to prevent reddening and irritation. Avoid scratching or rubbing your eyebrows excessively. Maintain them by plucking stray hairs that grow back in.
