How to Access FB Chat History
Facebook's chat feature allows users to communicate instantly through the social networking website. Users can talk to anyone on their friend's list who is currently signed in to Facebook. Users who recently disconnected can receive chat messages in their inbox for the next time they sign on. One of the features recently added to Facebook is the linking of all forms of messaging under the "Message" tab. Facebook Chat's history is accessible under this tab.

Sign in to your Facebook account.

Click the "Messages" tab on the left side of the screen.

Click a person's name to access your chat history with them. This will show the history for all forms of communication with them, including Facebook Chat, Messages and Email.
