Hypertext markup language files, or HTML files, are optimized for display in Internet browsers. However, sometimes an HTML file contains good information and a good design that you want to be able to access as a PDF, which stands for "portable document format." By using your browser to save those HTML files on your computer and using word processing software capable of converting HTML files to PDF documents, you can merge multiple HTML files into PDF format.

Instructions

1. Download your HTML documents onto your computer's hard drive. Navigate to your page on the Internet, hold "Control" on your keyboard and press "S" to save it to your hard drive.

2. Start your HTML to PDF converting software and convert each HTML file into PDF documents. Many word processing programs, such as Microsoft Word and OpenOffice, can convert HTML files to PDF files. Save each file you convert to PDF in the same folder. Each HTML file should be converted into a separate PDF document at this point.

3. Use a PDF merging program to compile all your PDF documents into a single PDF document.You can purchase a PDF merging program to do this, such as Adobe Acrobat Professional, or you can use a free PDF merging program, such as MergePDF.net and ILovePDF.com.

• Make sure none of your PDF files contain sensitive information if you are using an online PDF merging program. Online PDF merging programs may keep individual copies of each PDF file you upload on their servers.
