How to Lose VNC Control of Ubuntu
VNC, or Virtual Network Computing, is a system that allows you to remotely control another computer using a VNC client. If you are controlling an Ubuntu Linux system using VNC, there are three possible ways that you can lose control of the system.
Instructions

1
Disconnect from the client. This can be accomplished by closing the VNC viewer, losing network access on the viewer computer or logging out of the computer.
-
2
Disconnect the Ubuntu system from the network or terminate the VNC process on the machine. All connections will be severed at this point.

3
Lose your connection from another user logging in. Many VNC servers support only one simultaneous connection and you will be logged out when another user connects.
