How to Use a Camera as a Webcam on Skype
Skype is a free communications software that can use video conferencing, as well as chat and audio with your contacts. Most cameras and webcams are usable in Skype; you just need to check the configuration in Skype's settings. Connect your camera to your computer.

Start Skype and log in.

Select the "Tools" menu and click "Options."

Select the "General" tab, then click "Video settings." Here you can adjust various camera settings, such as hue, tint, color as well as contact list options. You will be able to see how well your camera is working, as it will show a live feed.

Click "Save" to save your settings. Select a contact from your list and click "Video call" when you want to use your camera live in conversation.
