How to Link D-Link Routers
You may opt to install and link two wireless routers, instead of one, when you wish to expand your network and connect more devices to it. Each D-Link router has four data ports, enabling you to connect four devices to one router. You can effectively increase the number of serviceable devices to six if you connect two D-Link routers together -- as one of the four data ports on each router in this configuration will be designated for communicating with the other router.

1
Connect one of the routers directly to your computer, running an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on your computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.
-
2
Open a Web browser window on your computer. In the address bar, enter "http://192.168.0.1", which is the default for your router. Click "Enter." A login window will pop up. In the username bar, type in "admin." Leave the password bar blank.

3
Locate the "Setup" tab and to the left of it, click "Network Settings." Go to "Router Settings" menu, then "Router IP Address" and input the default address of "192.168.0.2" under it. Then go to the "DHCP Server Settings" menu and uncheck the box "Enable DHCP Server."

4
Select the "Save Settings" command at the top of the window. This completes your two-router setup. You may ignore the prompts to log in with the new address.
-
5
Run an Ethernet cable from the WAN port of the other D-Link router to a data port on the one already connected to the computer. Your configuration should now be active and running.
