Develop and implement a Drupal website for your client by making a detailed plan to carry out. Think of it as an IT project that has a software development life cycle such as requirements research, design analysis, development, implementation, test and maintenance.

1. Gather information from the client about the detailed requirements. If the client has only a rough idea of what he requires, help clarify those requirements. Try to define the needs as clearly as possible at the outset. Prevent the client from making suggestions about the design of the site.

2. Specify the users of the site. Identify the types of users who will be active on the site. Create categories and sub-categories when needed. For each category of user, find out the group's aims of using the site.

3. Identify the list of features the site should offer users. Specify each feature according to the needs of the users. Convert the users, aims and features into a site map.

4. Determine how features can be developed in Drupal. Identify features that can be implemented with existing modules and those that can't. Download and install modules you will need for your site.

5. Choose a theme for the site while considering the following points: number of columns, color scheme, functionality and future changes. Develop the major functionality for your site.

6. Launch the site for your client to test. Fine-tune the configuration and functionality according to feedback from the client.
