How to Sew in a Loose Deep Weave
Loose deep weave hair extensions give the look of a soft texture of hair similar to beach wave hair styles. Sewing in your loose deep weave extensions is similar to sewing in straight or curly hair extensions. Sew-in extensions allow you to maintain your style for a month or more with minimum hair maintenance. This style can be used as a healthy alternative to constant styling and promotes hair growth. 1
Shampoo, condition and blow dry your hair. Part a section of your hair from the front of your head to use to cover the wefts of the hair extensions. Place the hair into the rubber band to separate it from the remaining unparted hair.
-
2
Part your natural hair and braid it in corn rows starting from the forehead to the back of the head. Sew the ends of the braids to the braided hair to secure in place and prevent lumps in your hair weave.
-
-
3
Place the weft of the hair extensions against the braid, and sew into place by sticking the needle through the cornrow hair and the weft of the weave.
-
4
Cut the weft as close to the head as possible to ensure a smooth look. Continue to place the wefts and sew into place until you cover the entire head.
-
5
Remove the rubber band from the unparted, unbraided hair, and comb into place to cover the exposed hair extension wefts.
