The Sign of the Cross is a well-known gesture in Catholicism. Catholics cross themselves as they enter and leave the church, as they enter and leave pews and at the beginning and end of prayers. It also reminds Catholics of baptism, which is done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
