How to Make a Do-Rag Out of a Bandanna
You can fold square-shaped bandannas in a wide array of methods to achieve different results. One of these methods is a do-rag. Do-rags cover the complete head with the bandanna and are a common sight on bikers. Since bandannas come in various sizes, colors and shapes, people of all ages, walks of life and genders use do-rags as a way to keep hair out of their face or as a fashion accessory. Place the bandanna flat on a level surface with one corner facing toward you. Fold the corner of the bandanna that facing you toward the center. The corner tip should touch the center of the bandanna.

Grasp both sides of the folded bandanna with each hand. Point your head downward and place the folded edge of the bandanna against your forehead.

Wrap the corners of the bandanna behind your hand. The sides of the scarf should run along the sides of your head. Lift your head up while still holding the ends of the bandanna at the back of your head.

Tie the ends of the bandanna that are behind your head into a single half knot. Tie the bandanna tight enough so it does not fall off your head.

Secure the knot with one hand. Pull the loose bandanna corner to cover the back of your head with the other hand. This loose bandanna corner covers the knot you previously tied.

Tie the ends that are already tied into a half knot into a full knot over the loose bandanna corner. Adjust the bandanna as needed.
