How to Accept Gifts on Neopets
At "Neopets," adopt virtual creatures and raise them online. To raise a Neopet successfully, you need to acquire food and feed the pets on a regular basis. Clothing and accessories make your virtual pet happier as well. To get these items, you need to earn or purchase Neocash. However, you can receive an item gift from a Neofriend. A Neofriend can also send you gifts of Neocash so you can buy virtual items of your choosing. However, you must properly accept the gifts within two days in order to use them.

Log in to your account. This will bring up your status page.

Look above the "My Account" menu. At the top left of the page, you will see the words "My Account." If you have received a gift, you will see an icon that states that you have received a gift above these words. Click on this icon.

Accept the gift. After you click on the gift icon, a new page will appear that asks if you want to accept or reject the gift. Choose "Accept."

Tips & Warnings
The Neofriend who sends you a gift will need to use a Neocash gift box if she wants to send Neocash.
If you are unable to use a gift on Neopets, your Neopets are likely not at a high enough level to use the gift. Level up your Neopets first.
Neopet users cannot send all Neopet items as gifts. Your Neofriend cannot send you spoiled eggs or used things, for example.
If you do not accept the gift within two days, the gift will return to the gift giver.
