Instructions

    • 1

Put a slice of bread in the cookie jar with the cookies. The cookies will absorb the moisture in the bread, keeping the cookies fresh while the bread slice is the only thing that gets hard and stale.

    • 2

Place the cookies on a cookie sheet and cook for 4 minutes at 350 F. Just make sure you'll be eating the cookies while they are hot. Once the cookies cool completely, the stale taste tends to return.

Put a few cookies into the microwave for about 10 seconds. This method works perfectly if you just need to refresh a few cookies. Like the oven method, the cookies will taste stale once they cool. If the cookies still taste a little stale, pop them back in the microwave for five to 10 more seconds.
