How to Create a Root Cellar Box
A root cellar box is a sturdy box in which you can store root vegetables for a long period of time, usually over the winter. Root cellar boxes are inexpensive and you can usually make them from found materials. Once you create a root cellar box, store it in a cold, humid area such as a basement, shed or under a porch. The insulation in the root cellar box will keep the vegetables inside from sprouting new growth, which can lead to spoilage. Does this Spark an idea?
