You can access all configuration options of your D-Link DI-614 wireless appliance.

The DI-614 is a wireless access point created by D-Link. It provides a wireless network following the 802.11b international standard. This means it is compatible with any other 802.11b network equipment, regardless of manufacturer or release. You can access the DI-614's configuration parameters to customize them to your personal network.

      Power up the DI-614.

      Use the Ethernet cable to connect your computer to any of the "LAN," numbered ports on the back of the DI-614.

      Launch a Web browser on the computer and navigate to Web address "192.168.1.1." Log in to the access point by typing user name "admin" and the administrator's password (the factory default is to have this password field blank). Click "Log In." At that point, you will get access to the configuration utility for the access point.

      Click on the wireless network icon on the Windows taskbar to join the DI-614's wireless network. Windows will list the wireless networks currently within range. Click on the line corresponding to the network provided by the DI-614.

      Click "Connect." Windows may prompt you for a network key if that Wi-Fi network happens to be encrypted; type it in and press "Enter." The computer will join the wireless network.
