How to Type in Morse Code
Morse code is made up of a series of alternating short blips and long sounds, but it can just as easily be typed to encrypt messages. Typing Morse code can be a great way to send your friends fun messages to interpret. Sending typed message back and forth is also good practice for memorizing Morse code. The more you do it, the quicker you will get at sending coded messages.

1
Memorize or reference Morse symbols for letters, numbers, and punctuation using a Morse code chart. Memorizing will make it easier for you to type Morse quickly.
-
2
Type the first letter of your word using a period for the dots and a hyphen for the dashes.
-
-
3
Enter a space between each letter of the word.
-
4
Separate words with a vertical line or forward slash. This will clarify where words begin and end and will make the messages easier to interpret.
-
5
Type out the appropriate dots and dashes for punctuation at the end of the last word of the sentence. Do not put a line to separate it from the final word. It should be a part of the last word. The same holds for commas in the sentence.
