Whether you are a gnome who wants to be taller or a tauren who wants to be the tallest, there are ways to increase your character's size in "World of Warcraft." Although these size-increasing effects are temporary, you will still have the time to amaze your friends, take fun screenshots and show off to the crowds in your favorite capital city.

Acquire an Elixir of Giant Growth or a Gigantic Feast. The Elixir of Giant Growth is created by alchemists and will increase your size by 30 percent for 20 minutes; the Gigantic Feast will have the same effect on your size, but is crafted by cooks and lasts for one hour.

Secure the help of another player to cast a short-duration buff that will further increase your size. A shaman can provide Heroism on the Alliance side and Bloodlust on the Horde side; a mage of either faction can provide Time Warp, while a Beast Mastery hunter of either faction with a Core Hound pet can provide Ancient Hysteria. These mutually-exclusive buffs last 40 seconds and will increase your size by a further 30 percent; after being under the effect of one of them, you will be unable to benefit from them again for 10 minutes. The other player will need to be in your group and close to you for the buff to have effect.

Tips & Warnings
No size increase will persist through death, but you can carry multiple size-increasing items with you and eat or drink another one when the size increase expires or you die. If you are a hunter, mage or shaman yourself, you won't need the help of another player for Step 2. If your character belongs to the Horde faction, you can gain an additional 50 percent size increase by traveling to Sen'jin Village and speaking with a non-playable character (NPC) named Bom'bay. Once you have completed two quests for him, Bom'bay will offer to help you out with any problems; picking any option from his list has a chance of granting you the size increase. During the Hallow's End event, which happens every year during the second half of October, you can gain an additional 30 percent size increase by eating a Hallow's End Candy, although this will also give an orange tint to your character.
Although it may be tempting, do not use your size increase to block access to mailboxes or NPCs. This kind of behavior can be considered griefing and may lead to you being suspended from the game.
