How to Tie an Over Under Knot
Various knots are used in outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, boating and climbing. Some knots are useful for many different activities. The Carrick bend is an example of one knot that is used by boaters, campers and climbers. Also known as the Over-Under, Sailor, Anchor and Josephine knot, the Carrick knot is useful for connecting two lines of similar diameter. As the name indicates, remembering a basic over-under sequence helps in tying the knot successfully.
