How to Get Creases Out of a Toe Box

The toe box refers to the area on the top of the shoe that covers your toes. Creases in the toe box can occur when someone stomps on your shoes or when the shoes are improperly packed in a suitcase. While creases in the toe box might not seem like that big of a deal, they can truly ruin the finished appearance of a shoe. Your shoes could look sloppy, particularly if you like designer shoes or expensive sneakers.

Plug your iron on and set it to medium heat. As the iron heats up, stuff the toes of your shoes with newspaper or a comparable material.

Soak a T-shirt in warm water and wring it out. Wrap it tautly around the toe box of your shoe. Place the iron over the toe box and keep it moving in a circular movement. Do not let the iron rest anywhere on your shoe for more than one or two seconds or it could burn your shoe.

Spray a lint-free cloth with spray starch and wipe down the toe box with it to further support the stiffening of the toe box.
