How to Use RocketMail With Outlook
RocketMail was a top email provider who fiercely competited against Hotmail in the 1990s. The service was acquired by Yahoo! in 1997 and the company still maintains and lets users sign up for a RocketMail email address. You can sync your RocketMail account with Outlook, giving you access to view, compose and respond to messages.

Double-click the "Outlook" icon on your desktop.

Select the "Tools and Accounts Settings" option and click "New" under the "E-mail" tab.

Select "E-mail Service" and click the circle for "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP."

Mark the check box for "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" at the bottom. Click the "Next" button to continue.

Click the radio button for "Internet E-mail" and then click "Next." On the next screen, fill in your display name and Rocketmail address.

Type in "pop.mail.yahoo.com" for the incoming mail server and "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" for the outgoing mail server.

Type the account's username without the rocketmail.com domain. Also, type the corresponding password. Click the "Next" button to finish setting up the email account.

Tips & Warnings
Once your Rocketmail account is set up, you can click the "Inbox" icon at any time to read, compose and reply to messages.
