How to Change the Profile Name Display on Friendster

Friendster allows you to blog, chat with your friends and play games.

Friendster is a social networking website that launched in 2002. Although the site's original focus was on networking with other users in a manner similar to MySpace and Facebook, the site's mission shifted to "social entertainment," with a focus on playing games and sharing music with friends. Your public profile displays the name under which you registered. You can change this name at any time.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Friendster website. Enter your email address and password, and click "Log In."

2. Click "Profile" in the menu bar at the top of the page.

3. Click "Edit Profile," beneath your photo.

4. Enter first name you want displayed in the "First Name" text box.

5. Enter the last name, or initial, that you want to use in the "Last Name" text box. Click "Save." Your new display name appears immediately on your profile.

Tips & Warnings

• You can choose whether to display your full name on your profile. Click "Settings," and select "Yes" or "No" next to "Display Last Name on Profile." Click "Save" to save your settings.
