How to Delete the History on Direct TV
The DirecTV DVR keeps a history of all the programs that you record or purchase using the DirecTV network. The list makes it easy for you to go back and see what programs you have seen in the past. If you prefer not to have the history saved on the DVR, you have to reset the device. However, resetting the DVR not only erases the history, but it also deletes all of the system information and settings, such as the Favorite Channels list.
