How to Know If Your Tweets Have Been Passed to Others
Twitter is a popular social networking site with a 140-character limit on messages, encouraging you to keep your messages short. It is designed to allow users to provide frequent updating about anything, no matter how minor. It encourages social interaction by allowing your "tweets," or messages, to mention or reply to others, and it has a private messaging system, too. Users can also retweet messages, meaning they can copy your tweet word-for-word and post it to their Twitter, allowing their followers to read it. You can see if your messages have been retweeted from the Twitter website.
