How to Delete Winnt/System32/Dllcache TMP Files

Windows applications such as Internet Explorer generate temporary files. If you want to delete the temporary files from the DLLcache, you need to go through the Registry Editor. The Windows Registry houses files for the programs on your computer system. Once you delete these temporary files from your computer, you will notice that Web pages will load faster.

      Click "Start" and select "Run."

    • 2

Type "regedit" in the Run dialog and press "Enter" to open the Registry Editor.

    • 3

Click to expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" in the left-hand pane and select the "WINNT" option. Click on "SYSTEM32."

    • 4

Click the "DLLCACHE" option and click on "TEMP" from the menu.

    • 5
