Instructions

1. Date the letter at the top right-hand corner of a piece of stationery. Write "Dear" plus the name of the fan as he signed the letter.

2. Thank the fan for writing. Explain how his letter made you feel and how much you appreciate it.

3. Answer any questions the fan posed in his letter. The fan might have asked about your likes or dislikes or asked about your inspiration for certain projects that you've accomplished.

4. Answer any requests for advice, if relevant. While no one expects you to have all the answers, the fan may have asked you how you've gotten to this level of success, in which case you can answer that honestly, giving them feedback about the importance of hard work and not giving up.

5. Encourage the fan in all his endeavors and warmly wish him the best of luck. Thank the fan for writing.
