  • Dishwashing detergent

Instructions

      Fill a plastic dish pan halfway with warm water and add 2 squirts of dishwashing detergent. Using a plastic dish pan prevents glasses from being scratched or cracked in the sink.

      Place the bourbon glass in the detergent solution. Carefully wash out the inside, using a sponge-tipped dish and glass cleaner. Rinse the bourbon glass with water.

      Fill the second dish pan with equal parts of water and white vinegar. Dunk the bourbon glass in the diluted vinegar solution to prevent water spots or mineral deposits from compromising the appearance of the glass.

Tips & Warnings

  • If bourbon has sat in the bottom of the glass overnight, allow the glass to soak in the detergent solution for 2 or 3 minutes to loosen it.
