Things You'll Need

  • BBQ
  • Large Vidalia onions
  • Tongs
  • Knife
  • Olive oil
  • Cooking brush

Instructions

      Cut the onions into strips 1/2-inch thick. Brush each slice with olive oil and place on the heated grill.

      Roast the slices for two minutes, then use the tongs to turn them over. Cook for two more minutes, or until both sides have a nice, black char mark.

      Remove the onion slices from the grill, let stand for three minutes and serve.
