To speak in the "Trade Box" you need to use the right keystroke command.

"World of Warcraft" ("WoW") is a massively multi-player online role-playing game. The 2010 "Guinness World Records" book lists "WoW" as the most popular MMORPG, with 11.6 million subscribers. When you connect to a "WoW" server you share the virtual landscape with a plethora of other gamers. These gamers can attack you in Player-Versus-Player zones, but they can also help you on your quests. You'll find that chatting with other gamers provides materialistic benefits too, as you can trade your in-game items for weapons or gold. The "WoW" chat feed contains a special channel for trading. To speak directly to the trade box, you must use the right command.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your World of Warcraft account.

    • 2

Click on the chat box, just as you normally would to speak with other players in the "General" chat.

    • 3

Type "/2" (without quotes) before your text.

    • 4

Type in your message. With the "/2" command listed before your text, the chat is viewable in the "Trade" box. This command is only available in cities, as this is where trading occurs. You cannot use "/2" to speak in trade chat if you're out exploring Azeroth or questing with friends.
