How to Block Facebook With RVS4000
Facebook use by employees accounts for billions of dollars in lost business revenue each year, according to Global Secure Systems, an IT security firm based in the United Kingdom. Besides impeding worker's productivity, Facebook use can cut into a network's bandwidth and increase IT needs, not to mention create unnecessary drama and gossip among colleagues. Using a router system such as Cisco's RVS4000 is one way to control the Internet and computer usage of small-business employees.
