How to Pick Up Items in the Safari Zone on "SoulSilver"
Because the "Pokemon SoulSilver" game is remake of the original "Pokemon Silver" version, many missions and locations in the game remains the same. Although the Safari Zone was moved to a location west of Cianwood in "Pokemon SoulSilver," you will still be able to find rare Pokemon and items within the boundaries of the Safari Zone. Finding items may be difficult since you will have to travel through tall grass and battle wild Pokemon, but picking up items is simple with a press of a button.

Walk through the different zones of the Safari Zone until you spot an object that looks like a PokeBall protruding out of the grass or out in the open areas.

Walk up to the object until you are face to face with it. It does not matter which side of the object you are facing.

Press the "A" button on your Nintendo DS console while facing the object to pick up the item and add it to the "Items" section of your bag. Once you pick the item up, a message will appear telling you what the item is.
