How to Wrap Mini Loaves
Give the gift of baked bread with a mini loaf. Mini loaves are half the size of the traditional loaf of bread, which makes them perfect for gift giving throughout the year. Mix up your favorite bread recipe and wait for it to cool completely before removing the bread from the pan, or sending the pan along as part of the gift. When sending the gift, always attach a thoughtful note to the mini loaf gift and the name of the bread within the package.

Decorative Boxes
-
1
Purchase a white baker's box from a craft supply store or baker supply store. There are a variety of different sizes available, so choose a box that accommodates the loaf size or choose a box that can hold more than one loaf. Line the interior of the box with parchment paper to prevent the bread from sticking to the sides.
-
2
Place the bread inside the box and place a piece of parchment paper over the top of the bread to prevent it from sticking to the lid. Close the lid and seal it with a small piece of tape.
-
-
3
Cut a piece of wrapping paper to fit around the center of the box. The paper should only cover the center of the box, leaving at least 1 inch of exposed white on either side of the paper. Secure the wrapping paper to the center of the box with tape.
-
4
Wrap a ribbon or place a bow on top of the box with a note attached. The note should detail what type of bread is in the package.
Wrap in Cellophane
-
5
Wrap the mini loaf in cellophane and the bottom half of a baker's box to give as a gift. Cellophane is found at retailers nationwide and comes in a rainbow of colors that vary by season.
-
6
Place the bread into the bottom of the box. If it is loose, tuck a small piece of tissue paper on either side to tighten up the fit.
-
7
Make a label for the bread gift and string it onto a piece of twine. Wrap the twine around the center of the box and bread and tie.
Stoneware Gift
-
8
Bake the bread in a nice piece of stoneware and give the stoneware and the bread as a gift.
-
9
Place the stoneware into the center of a large piece of cellophane. Pull the sides of the cellophane upward and cut.
-
10
Grab the center of the cellophane and bunch together. Pull your hand downward to the stoneware and loaf and wrap a rubber band around the area to keep tight.
-
11
Wrap a ribbon and bow around the rubber band and trim the cellophane to a decent height level. Attach a tag and give the gift.

Tips & Warnings
Instead of wrapping paper around the box, have your children draw a sweet picture and wrap around the box for the center decoration.
List the ingredients on the labels to let receivers know if there are any ingredients they may be allergic to such as nuts or wheat.
