Printing invoices with a customer copy is necessary to give him appropriate documentation of his purchase.

An invoice is similar to a receipt. It is a document that is given to the purchaser of a product or service from the seller or provider. Most businesses have a digital form for their invoices featuring their letterhead or logo. They can just insert the information for each order or project and then print out the completed invoice. There must be two copies of the invoice, one for the purchaser and one for the business who is selling or providing the product or service. In order to get these two copies in a more efficient manner, printing on carbonless laser printer paper gives you two copies for one print job.
