How to Do the Crazy Legs Dance thumbnail
Mastering the crazy legs dance is challenging.

The crazy legs dance originated from breakdance but can be used with any genre of music that carries a quick beat. The dance is leg-oriented, requiring that you to move your legs, knees and feet very fast. While there isn't a specific series of moves that you have to achieve to pull off the crazy legs dance, you will have to move your lower limbs in rhythm with the music to make it effective.

Instructions

    • 1

Play a song that has a quick and choppy beat. You need to have a fast rhythm to do the crazy legs dance.

    • 2

Move your feet forwards, backwards and to the side as you quickly twist at your ankles and your knees. Try to keep your feet close to the ground while doing this.

    • 3

Keep your upper body steady when moving your legs to give the impression that your lower body is moving even more erratically.

    • 4

Perch on your toes and your heels briefly as you move your feet. Try doing this once or twice every five seconds.

    • 5

Kick one foot in the air while still twisting your other foot, leg and knee. Do this at a moment in the song when there is a heavy beat or drastic transition.

    • 6

Vary the sequence of movements you perform during the song. Apart from the technique itself, what makes the dance "crazy" is the erratic order of the moves themselves.
