"Starcraft II" is a strategy game by the game company Blizzard. Players choose one of the three races to play as either Terran, Zerg or Protoss and fight against other players online. Spectator mode allows players to watch but not participate in a match between others. Viewers can view the entire map and see what is being built by all the players. However, spectator mode is only available in non-ranked matches. This means that in order to be a spectator, you must find a custom game that has the option enabled.

Load "Starcraft II" and log into your account online.

Select the multiplayer option and click on "Custom Games."

Search the custom games list for hosted matches that allow spectators.

Join a game and click on the designated player spot for observers.

Let the game begin and you will be able to watch the entire match, including the entire map, build order, units and the economy of all participating players.
