How to Move the Caption of a Text Field In Adobe Professional

Since PDF documents can not be affected by formatting issues regardless of which program loads the PDF, moving any elements within the document can be difficult without the correct software. With the Adobe Acrobat Professional, you can edit and move the caption in a text field with a few clicks of the mouse.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch the Adobe Acrobat Professional software and open the existing PDF that you want to edit.

    • 2

Click on the "View" tab located across the top of the program window and drag your mouse over the "Toolbars" option in the drop-down menu. A slide-out menu will appear. Click on the "Forms" option to reveal the "Forms" toolbar.

    • 3

Click on the "Text Field Tool" icon located on the "Forms" toolbar, which is the sixth icon from the right.

    • 4

Left-click to select the text field caption that you want to move. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the caption box until you have positioned the caption where you want it to be on the PDF document.
