How to Make a Toga Robe
Togas, a Roman fashion consisting of a piece of fabric draped around the body, have made a comeback in modern times as party wear. They are worn over a tunic (nowadays a t-shirt and shorts for the truly modest) and leave one arm exposed, usually the right. They are wrapped around the waist to secure them and held closed with a pin. Anyone can make their own toga with some basic equipment and be ready to party the night away in style.

Fold your cloth or sheet in half and secure one end to your waist under your right arm. Use a pin or hold it in place as you follow the next step

Wrap the cloth around your waist two or three times, depending on your size, bringing it around the front of your body on the last wrap. Secure the sheet to your t-shirt or shorts with a safety pin.

Throw the trailing end of the sheet or cloth over your left shoulder from the front, allowing it to fall loosely down your back. Secure a portion of the cloth to your t-shirt with the decorative brooch if you wish, but allow part of the cloth to drape over your left arm.
