How to Catch Aipom in "Pokemon Diamond"
In the Pokemon series, Aipom is a purple monkey-like creature with a hand at the end of its tail. It specializes in delivering speedy, physical attacks to opponents. In addition, as a Normal-type Pokemon, Aipom brings immunity to Ghost-type attacks and is only weak to Fighting-type moves. To add Aipom to your team in "Pokemon Diamond," you must first obtain the Sweet Honey item. You can slather this honey on certain trees to attract Aipom, as well as several other species of Pokemon.

Fly to Floaroma Town in western Sinnoh.

Travel through the path that leads from the northwest corner of town to Floaroma Meadow.

Go to the cottage in the south section of Floaroma Meadow.

Talk the man inside the house. Purchase Sweet Honey from him for 100 Pokemon Dollars.

Apply the Sweet Honey to the brown tree outside of the house.

Exit Floaroma Meadow and wait at least six to 12 hours before returning.

Examine the tree. Aipom may be there. If not, repeat the process.

Attack Aipom to lower its health meter. Don't use fighting-type attacks, as these moves will knock it out before you can capture it.

Throw a PokeBall to capture it.

Tips & Warnings
Purchase multiple honey jars from the man in Floaroma Meadow. As you travel around the Sinnoh region, you will find more brown trees that you can slather Sweet Honey on.
Mark as many trees as you can to increase your chances of finding an Aipom. You can keep track of these trees by turning on your PokeGear's Marking Map feature. This feature allows you to leave stamps on important places on the map.
After you find one Aipom, you can find more by quickly slathering the same tree with more Sweet Honey.
Heracross, Silcoon, Wurmple, Burmy, Combee, Cherubi and Munchlax are other Pokemon that may appear on your trees. If one of these appears instead of an Aipom, you can fight the Pokemon for experience points or capture it for your collection.
If you're low on money, capture a Combee. This bee Pokemon collects Sweet Honey, so you can save your money, rather than asking the man in Floaroma Meadow for more of it.
