How to Block Incoming Calls to a Samsung Alias

Activate Spam Control on your Alias to block unwanted calls and messages.

Users of the Samsung Alias flip cellphone who do not want to receive unwanted phone calls can block up to five phone numbers free of charge with Verizon Wireless' Spam Blocking service. You can activate Spam Blocking from your computer in just a few minutes. In addition to blocking selected phone numbers, Spam Blocking allows you to block certain email and text messages.

Instructions

1. Log in to your My Verizon account at my.Verizon.com.

2. Click on the "My Services" tab at the top of the screen.

3. Click on "Verizon Safeguards" in the "My Services" menu.

4. Select "Spam Controls."

5. Enter the phone number that you want to block, then click "Save" at the bottom of the screen. You can enter up to five numbers.

Tips & Warnings

• Click the "Delete" button next to each blocked number if you want to remove that number from your block list.

• If you want to block all incoming calls to your Samsung Alias for a period of time, you adjust your phone's call settings to "Airplane Mode." This will prevent calls from coming in, but will prevent you from making calls as well.
