How to Make a Choker Out of a Bandana
Make a fashion statement by wearing a bandana around your neck in a choker style. It is a versatile, unisex item that is often seen in western wear. The purpose for the bandana is so a person can wipe the sweat from his eyebrows or wrap it around her neck or head to keep cool during warmer months. But in today's fashion culture, it is more than just a sweat rag -- it's a fashion statement. Tie one around the neck and secure with a solid knot to show off your individual style. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lay the bandana on a flat surface and turn it slightly to resemble a diamond shape. Prior to folding the bandana, ensure the material is free of wrinkles. If wrinkles exist, simply run a warm iron on a cotton setting to smooth the surface.
-
2
Pick up one corner of the bandana and pull it across to the opposite corner.
-
-
3
Hold one corner in each hand on the long side of the bandana. There are three corners at this point; you will have the two that are on either side of the long, skinny side of the bandana.
-
4
Flip the fabric over to create a 1-inch strip of material. You are rolling the bandana upwards to get a smaller, choker-style bandana.
-
5
Keep flipping the bandana until the entire fabric is rolled into a small, thin and long piece of fabric. Pick the bandana up, carefully not to unravel the folds, and wrap it around your neck to ensure a proper fit.
-
6
Pull the ends of the bandana tightly and tie using the two loose ends. Use caution when tying since you do not want to strangle yourself.
