How to Heal in "World of Warcraft" With a Paladin
Paladin healers are considered some of the best tank healers in "World of Warcraft." The learning curve for how to heal as a Paladin changes as your character advances. Even when you reach Level 85, you will find there are differences when healing through a Heroic instance versus healing through a Zul instance versus healing a raid. You will have to continually change your Healing rotation and Gemming as new patches comes out.

1
Level your Paladin to Level 10. At this level, the character can select which Talent Tree it wants to go into.
-
2
Select the Holy Spec from the tree.

3
Run through instances as you advance to get the hang of Healing Parties. The more experience you get at the lower levels, the easier it will be to heal higher levels. Run through instances often once you hit Level 85 to get the practice. This will give you experience with the different types of tanks.
-
4
Enchant all of your gear once you hit Level 85, but do not use the high-level enchantments until you get Epic Armor. You can start at i346-Level gear to help with instances, but you really want to wait until you reach i359 gear before dumping money into enchantments. Raise you reputation with Therazane. They have the Greater Inscription of Charged Lodestone enchantment for your shoulder-slot item.
-
5
Gem your armor with Intellect gems. The +40 Intellect gems are not expensive and you can get as many as you need from the Auction House. Intellect gives the Holy Paladin more Mana, more Critical Strike and more Spellpower.
-
6
Learn rotation and timing. Knowing when to cast which spell and managing Mana consumption can make the difference if you will be able to heal all the way through the battle. Watch your over-healing. Healing when the party members do need it is just wasting Mana.
