How to Wire a DirecTV Multiswitch
The multiswitch in your DirecTV system enables multiple satellite receivers to connect to the feed from your satellite dish. As long as you have a dish with a multiple LNB or Low Noise Block arm, you can wire up the DirecTV multiswitch without having to wait for a technician to show up. The switch uses standard cables to hook up to your system and does not require a power source.
