How to Know If You're More Than Just Friends
Human relationships can definitely be complex. Sometimes when you're friends with a man or a woman whom you have deeper romantic feelings for, it can be increasingly difficult to determine whether your friend reciprocates those romantic feelings or simply cares about you as a friend. This is because some of the things that friends do together overlap with the things that romantic couples do together, such as confiding in one another. Luckily, certain words and behavior to look for will give you a definitive answer on the matter.

1
Make a list of any gifts this person has ever given you for your birthday or any other occasion. Examine each item on your list. If any of these gifts includes something romantic or even mildly romantic that you would give a girlfriend or boyfriend, it's a definite sign that you're more than friends. For example, gifts like jewelry, flowers, evening excursions for just the two of you and comparable items are a sign that this person has feelings for you beyond friendship.

2
Write down any time your friend has mentioned a romantic interest. If he has romantic feelings for you, he won't mention other women to you.

Write down the names of her other friends and family members. Put a check next to each person you've met. if your friend has deeper, romantic feelings for you, she will want to include you in all aspects of her life, including have you meet her parents and friends.

Write down anything he has said about previous people you've dated. If he has romantic feelings for you, it's likely that he's said something negative about your past boyfriends.
-
5
Write down any remarks that your mutual friends have said about the two of you, as your communal friends are apt to pick up on deeper feelings. For example if your mutual friends have said things like, "You two have crushes on each other" or "You guys are like a married couple," it's likely that you both have romantic feelings for each other.

6
Write down any remarks your friend has said about changes to your appearance and whether they're positive or negative. For example, a friend that has romantic feelings for you is likely to notice the smallest change you make to your appearance, for example, if you trim your hair or wax your eyebrows this friend will still be able to tell.
