How to Make Your Own Alkalized Water
Maintaining a proper pH in your body is essential for proper bodily functions. You can adjust the pH level in your body by adjusting what you eat and drink. Drinking alkaline water will raise your body's pH level so that it is slightly alkaline. Having too much acidity in the body has been linked to hair, skin and nail weaknesses, digestive tract difficulties or muscular cramps and infections. Does this Spark an idea?

Test the pH of your distilled water.

If it is acidic, add a liquid neutralizer to the gallon of water and shake the gallon until the neutralizer is fully incorporated. The water should be a neutral pH level.

Add ¼ tsp. baking soda to the gallon of neutral distilled water. Shake the container until the baking soda power is fully dissolved and integrated.

Test the water again. It should have a 7 pH. Add more baking soda until it reaches this level.

Tips & Warnings
Only use aluminum-free baking soda, as consuming too much aluminum has been linked to some health issues.
